End of Bara Jam log


In all honesty, I had fun making this game and the process to getting this far. Unfortunately, I had a rough 2 months at work and after having to work in Unity for several hours you tend to grow tired of having to look at the editor window. So on top of having to work on this game during the weekends I sometimes didn’t even touch it.

I wanted to do a turn based visual novel where the player was a wolf who goes directly to the boss instead of the through the dungeons.

Problem was how I wanted to handle the mechanics of the game. At first I wanted the boss to attack the player and you would block and/or time it to parry or block the attack. You would also have a shield that would take the damage instead of your armor and if you parried properly it took no damage. Unfortunately, that would take a lot of iterations and tests to get working properly.

So for now I scrapped it and will have to work on it later

I do have future plans for this game though.
